Help Can't assign ringtones

I just did a factory reset to try to get this to work, but it didn't. I go to contacts, pick a contact, pick a ringtone, hit okay and nothing happens. Can someone please help.

Idk much about this.
But did you clear dalvik cache?

Use Odin if you really want to fix it fast without trouble shooting. If you have any questions about what to do, post them in that thread.

Guess I will leave it as it is. Rooted it a while back, done too many other things to it and I don't want to lose them. Thanks for the info.

This should work for you if you just want to install an app to fix it. I've used it before and it works pretty good. Ringdroid

I have come across this before (I think it was a samsung device) and a different tone picker usually resolves the issue.
