Root Can't download pic mssgs

Every once in a while I get a pic mssg that when I touch the download button it fails. Its happened with pics sent from different phones on different carriers different res of cams different file types. I've tried to rule out any of the "dumb guy" stuff so evom wouldn't just put a lmgtfy link in here as a reply lol. Also tried clearing the cache and dalvik. Ive also cleared out all my texts to no avail. Any thoughts?

What app you using? Depending on the file type your msg app might not like it. I'll try to find something over at xda. You're running cm7 right?

Mine struggles with them too from time to time. Especially if someone sends me 3 or 4 at the same time. It doesn't matter if I use the stick app or handcent. I think what it's doing is it is downloading it anyway before I hit the download button and if I hit the button it tried to do it twice at the same time and they fail. I've found that if I slow down and either let it get them on it's own or at least only press the button once it does better.

I've noticed mine struggles w/MMS whenever I'm connected to a wifi network.

Yeah im on cm7 and it happens over wifi and 3g as well. I use handcent, I guess I haven't tried the stock messaging apk, perhaps ill give that a try

Mine has been doing this a lot lately. I rarely get my mms and rarely get to send them without a failure.

I have just dealt with it because i havent had time to play around with it. Trying to avoid a wipe.
