Root Can't get into settings!!!???

I just went from rooted 2.2 to rooted .596. I installed the Broodcomb 4.0 ROM and am using LPP. Everything seems to work well except I can't get into my settings.

Home screen menu settings to be exact. I click menu on the home screen and click settings and it just doesn't do anything.

Any suggestions? Anyone else having this problem?

They are listed as "preferences" when you press the hard menu button.
 
No no no haha. I'm not talking about my launcher settings "preferences". I'm talking about my PHONE settings. It's not working
 
have you tried ADW? i would suggest trying adw and see if you can get into settings then, i know that LPP supposidly has some minor issues with certain roms, so try uninstalling lpp and try installing adw, it may fix your issue
 
Yea, I just SBF'd back to 2.2, re-rooted, re-installed GB and ROM......same thing. I'm just gonna go with a different ROM.
