Root Can't get past white boot screen

Hi, I have an Evo 4g running cyanmod6. Last night my battery died and when I plugged it in and tried to reboot it this morning, I keep getting stuck on the white HTC EVO 4G screen. It doesn't loop the boot screen, it's just stuck on it. I tried to do a recovery from a past date but it still gets stuck on this screen when I reboot it. I saw some other people with this problem but none of the solutions helped me, please help!

UPDATE: Got the phone functional again my wiping all the data, hopefully now I can reboot from recovery.
UPDATE #2: Recovery reboot worked perfectly this time! Hope this helps anyone else.

wow!!!! cm6? you know that they they have cm7 now right? and even cm7.2 and even cm9 out now as well. my phone never like cm6.

and you might have not had to wipe data. most of the time wiping dalvik cache and cache will do the job of fixing most issues.
