Help Can't purchse from the marketplace!!

I love the droid x, but I cannot purchase anything from the market place. It's really starting to bug the shit out of me. I have done a factory rest and tried a battery pull...nothing is working. This droid x works great besides the marketplace issue. What can I do to fix this?

I'm hella annoyed!

Are you the primary on the Verizon account? Do you have Google checkout set up?

Yes I am the primary on the account.
I have also tried to set up the google checkout and it always comes up with an "error".

Are setting up the google checkout from a pc? Try doing that through AppBrain and see if it doesn't work better for you.

This. I had a lot of issues attempting to register a Google Checkout account via the phone; I than decided to try it out on PC, and it worked on the first try.

Yes I have tried setting up my google check out from a PC.
OMFG I just did ANOTHER factory reset using the info from http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid-x/186672-everyone-updated-2-2-take-look-should-help.html and now everything is lagging more. I will move my apps around on my home screen and it will revert back or other icons will double as other icons. This is a bunch of bullshit!

Well I tried to set up my google check out again with no luck.
I always get "[SIZE=+1]Oops![/SIZE]An error occurred while processing your request."

Any help?

Are you using a Google Chrome clone browser by any chance? Like SRWare? Google seems to hate SRWare for 'some reason'.
All the more reason for me to use it (on the computer, of course)

No I'm not using anything like that. Maybe it won't let me set it up because I am using my work computer. I will try setting up tonight on my Mac.

Probably not...but I never had the same issues you're having now.

My wife's phone did this. I just opened Firefox and setup the Google checkout on the PC, once the credit card was configured on the PC, I haven't had any issues.

I have a problem with my credit card company blocking my Google checkout transactions for various reasons to supposedly prevent fraud. One time was because the developer wasn't in the US, another time because the transactions were in various parts of the country.

If that happens, you have to call your credit company to relax their safeguards.
