Root cant restore stock rom from infused 2.0.5...

so i did the 3e modded recovery, and flashed the infused 2.0.5 rom, BUT before doing so, i backed up my rom.. no ive been having some issues with infused going from 4g to E, so was going to flash back before i downloaded some other roms.. when i restore, it says completed, but i reboot and im in an endless cycle of "SAMSUNG" lol i get back into recovery and can flash back to infused fine. whats the deal? thanks !

You absolutely can not flash back to a froyo rom from a fingerbread rom without running odin back to stock...reroot...testore the froyo backup
