Root Can't send or receive picture mail... second phone.

probably nothing but...

one thing ive noticed is if you try to send an MMS to a cellphone number/contact without the area code (coz u have the same area code) and just the 7-digit number, "Sending..." msg gets stuck!?! but when i added the area code, it sends fine.

using MIUI here btw.

I always use the area code before.

I have no issues with MMS using GO SMS, have not tried Handcent.

yeah I'm rooted stock.
idk about flashing anything tho... nothing seems stable enough for the phone yet

Same here, was never able to send/receive picture mail on stock. Was surprised as all heck the day after first instaling cm7 when I recieved one from a friend. Its been over a month now since having to deal with that POS Rom and all its issues, God bless Isaac & Ticker.

FOUND FIX!!!
When you have the handcent messenger set to the main messaging app, it doesn't work. Put it on disable and on the default messager turn off notifications

I just enabled handcent as my default messaging application (2nd option under application settings) and now they send!

This is a total crap shoot. just gotta tinker around until you find the solution...rooted evo 4g lte
