Help Can't Stop Activesync

My HTC EVO 4G will constantly trigger activesync. It will go on and off repeatedly and drain my battery. If I turn off auto sync, it will stop but I want to keep autosync on and see no reason why I shouldn't be able to. I have had my phone for over a year and it just started today. Can anyone help?

not sure. what changed? is facebook set to recieve live feeds? I have seen this popup on my phone after a update for facebook. simply unchecking that did it for me.
