ive tried recalibrating the battery but its still the same, im on 1.11 miuixj with manu 1.4 kernel

my battery gets to 10% and then suddenly drops to 1% and shuts down??

mine would never get that low before shutting down. probably
around 20%. but then I normally charge it once it gets to 40% :-D

hes probably using a different kernal that displays it differently
the device still is built to shut down when it gets there. its by design

calibrate your battery using the oldschool method of charging while off, booting then charging, power down and charge. boot to recovery and wipe battery stats.
we are only telling you facts. its built into the desire as a protection machanism for the battery.

maybe your friend on the same kernal and same rom has a battery calibrator tool and you dont know. or he has done the other method

eitherway its designed to shut down at 10% even if it displays 1%

3. In the app, menu --> settings -->
a. Check: GPS polling, ACR adjustment, advanced options
b. UNcheck: Airplane and Wake lock. Go back.
4. Go to LearnPrep tab
a. Set age: 100% --> save,
b. Set mAh: 1452 --> save
c. Register: 0x66 Value: a4 --> save
d. Register: 0x65 Value: 06 --> save
e. Register: 0x10 Value: 04 --> save
