Root Can't update!!

Hey, I have a rooted desire on stock 2.2
now its a new update avalible and i can't update? is that normal or is it just something wrong?

I just wonder if that has something to do with the root? and i have like been waiting on that update before flashing a new rom (for the first time). And now i can't update??

If you have rooted, you will not get the OTA updates...

I would recommend flashing a ROM - it's a painless process and has many benefits

It shouldn't be too long before we start to see 2.3 ROMs emerging for the Desire

actually you will see the updates, you should not install them or attempt to as they can cause you problems

ah, ok. I tried to update last night. I couldn't. So i figured i was going to give a custom rom a try. I did. And now i have Defrost.
