Can't view contacts when creating new message, help?

[DaveJaVu]

Says it all in the title really. None of my contacts can be viewed when I create a new sms message, it just repeats one name over and over and over again. The only way I'm managing to message people at the moment is by using old messages and replying. Can anyone help me please?

It sounds as if there's a problem with your contact storage. How are they stored, as 'Phone' or 'Google' contacts?
