Has anyone tried using a Golf GPS app on a Captivate that is haveing GPS problems. I do not use GPS on the phone for maping, but I do use it on the golf course as well as finding resturants etc .
I've used Sky Droid from the Market. If your course isn't there you can map it easily. I've had some success with it and the GPS. It locks on quickly enough for me but I find that it wanders, meaning that when I stop the distance keeps counting down until it realizes that I've stopped and then starts counting back up. It's very accurate once it settles but I started using my blackberry again because the golflogix program combined with the BB GPS are more solid.
