Captivate wish list

Fix GPS lock-down times.
Fix Compass calibration.
Exchange calendar sync doesn't work right. Colors, tags, sync it's all messed up.
ATT crapware. Really ATT?

Here's a minor one.
When I call someone, I see their picture and phone number but not the tag for the phone number (mobile, home, office, etc) the last several phones I've had did that.
There's a lot of screen real estate here, use it!
Also, does anyone know why I can select the default phone number for some contacts and not others?

- Support for led notifications (the lights are on the phone, but there's no software support)

Is there an LED? I don't see any on my cappy...
Somewhere I read about a novel idea though, they were working on lighting like 4 pixels red or some other low-consumption color as a notification, and I think that's brilliant.
I can't find the post right now though, XDA maybe?

The ability to dial from an exchange calendar note entry.
The ability to map from an exchange calendar location entry.
Set favorites vs keypad for default phone screen.
Have the universal search (longpress search hard button) work better with music and contacts.
Create groups from contacts synced over from exchange.
Be able to one touch email the group from a home page widget.
Sync playlists (and album art) from Windows Media player or drag and drop to SD card.
LED email notification.
Keep the hard buttons lit as long as the screen is on.
Exchange sync with notes and tasks.
the ability to file unused apps in the app drawer.
Turn off the gmail app notifications, I use the built in email app and it also notifies
The ability to forward, via email, visual voicemails that come in through the google voice app.
The ability to file received emails in exchange folders.
Automatic USB discovery with any computer.
The ability to view animated radar maps in the browser? (I have to be doing something wrong)

Is that too much to ask?

What's wrong with proxy settings?
Just curious...

I did finally find an area to set Proxy settings, though it was for all Wi-Fi connections, as opposed to specific to a wireless AP. I think my problems stem more from the issues associated with Enterprise class wireless.

Ah - yes, because I found it by accident, pressing the Menu key within the Wireless settings area!

It's not surprising, though, considering even Windows has a machine-wide proxy setting, not per-network. There are third party tools to overcome this, though, in a "network selector" sort of way.
