Help Car Audio Pairing Question

Can someone with an N4 do me a HUGE favor and confirm something for me?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 to while the time away until the N4 comes back into stock. The S3 is actually quite a nice phone (especially since I only paid a dollar for it) but I've run into a real deal-breaker problem with the recent upgrade to JB:

While paired to my car the Google Now and keyboard Voice to Text option is disabled. This is something I absolutely need in a phone. Before I plunk-down and buy the N4 (or, well, make plans to buy the N4), I would really appreciate it someone could verify that this feature works. Here are some specifics.

With your N4 paired to your car, check to make sure BOTH Call Audio and Media audio are checked under setting for that device then test the Google Now and the keyboard Voice to Text to make sure it works. FYI...this works on my Nexus 7 but I'd really like some first-hand observations that it works for the N4.

Pretty please? Thank you thank you thank you....in advance.

You just need voice input for Google now when connected to bluetooth right? I'll test it in my Jeep on my way home from work. I'm pretty sure it works, because I think I remember using it, but I'll double check.

Tested it. Connected to my Bluetooth, then opened Google Now, said "Google" to launch voice input. I asked a question and it was answered verbally through my Jeep's speakers. Then I also used my voice to initiate a call. Everything worked fine.

My car (2011 Mitsubishi Outlander) has the Fuze hands-free system that when connected pretty much takes over the voice commands. If I use an old Samsung earpiece, voice commands work as always. I would say it would depend on the bluetooth device.

Charles,

Thanks very much for checking.

Voice command, either in GN or via the keyboard mic button won't initialize if I have Call Audio and Media Audio checked under the BT setting for my car (Kia). If I uncheck Media Audio, it intializes perfectly but then I can't can't stream music from my phone to my car's stereo.
