Help Car charger works, AC/USB doesnt??

Newbie
My Evo will not charge through USB or house charger (I can still transfer files to and from the USB). Only way I can currently charge the phone is through the car charger.

Also, battery has died while being plugged in through the USB showing 100% battery.

Suggestions?
 
so the battery shows 100% on your phone, but then it died? and when the usb cable is plugged in, does your charging light go on? have you tried a different usb cable? it could be your phone's port. not sure why you can still access your card though. maybe a different battery?

weird, you might need to take it in.
 
Yes its very weird. I had it plugged in (light was green indicating a 100% battery) and it just died. When I plugged it into car charger immediately after it showed that the battery was empty.

While plugged into AC/USB the the light does come on as if it was charging, but battery monitor widget only shows charging through the car charger but not through USB. Ive tried different cables with same results.

I will definitely take it in.

I tried an extra battery I have but it still gives the same problem. Im going to the sprint store tomorrow to see what they tell me.
 
I figured out my own problem. for some odd weird reason, pulling out the SD card and putting it back in, solved my charging issues. I have no idea why that worked, or how the card and charging are connected, but it worked. strange
