I ran a half marathon with my evo and the my tracks app. It's great.

Just get an spibelt. You can use an extended battery with it as it will stretch as needed. I put it on and don't even notice it there anymore. It is also way more comfortable than an armband.so, i don't have my evo yet (and this is my first post), nor do i have an extended battery yet--but i'm guessing that i'll get one and still want to run with it. has anyone found a armband+case that works with the extended battery?
any thoughts much appreciated. . .
volume level is too low on the htc evo...the ipod has almost twice the volume level in terms of db
I run and jog with it in my pocket, using Cardio Trainer to keep up with my time and distance and while playing music with Power Amp and never have a problem at all.
Have you done anything to verify the accuracy of Cardio Trainer? I have been using it for quite a while, but I just finished a half-marathon a week ago and the recorded distance didn't jive with the course markers.

Hi all
I am a big Guy ...but evo is a little big and heavy.
What is the best solution to carry it while at gym?
Arm band ...would it not look funny?
Belt clip..would it pull your shorts down?
Short Pocket ..bounce around too much while running and the weight would make swing more .. be bothersome
What is your solution?
It was a bit odd at first, I kept mistaking them for sounds in the real world.
i've been using the amphipod airflow endurance waistpack (http://www.rei.com/product/776506)to carry my evo while i train for the LA Marathon. This waistpack sits snugly against the small of my back, so it doesnt bounce, and has enough space to carry keys, energy gels/snacks and my ID. I dont like the feel of armbands, which is why i went with a waistpack instead. I've also been using RunKeeper Pro (now free) to track my workouts.
