Cases for the Moment

I just bought it in black, will let you know how it goes. Yes, I like boring.:D

Well, the 'official' case broke mine. That's why I'm on my second moment. The top half (screen and whatnot) had about a 1mm gap in in. It made it rattle when it vibrated, and to top it off, the screen started making that groaning sound plastic makes when you bend it to almost breaking. Of course I took it back, showed them what was up, and got refund for the cases and a brand new phone. I'll take removing all my stuff I've D/L to the phone for one that's not broken. I'm probably going to get one of the jelly cases from fommy.com.

All in all, I've said in 3 other threads, don't get the cases from sprint. They break the phone, and they're cheap.

Mine isn't that bad. Just a little play in the keyboard that I didn't notice before I had the case on. I have to go to the mall anyway so I'll swing by the Sprint store with the case and see what they say. I hate replacing phones after you finally get it the way you want it!

Body Gloves are nice but they even made my friends Curve HUGE, imagine what they would do to the Moment! ;)

Huge? lol....I think the Moment is not that big, but then again I did upgrade from a Razr with about 2 weeks of having a bb curve in between...:eek:

I'm not gonna try the body glove... simply because of my prior experience with the Sprint cases... 'snap on' to me means 'step away'. Snapping onto this phone means only one thing.... wedging itself into the space between the screen and the keyboard.

I'm liking the jelly cases, simply because it looks as though they won't hike themselves in the space the phone uses to slide open. I'll order a black jelly from Fommy.com and tell everyone here how it goes from first look, to installation, to end of first day. I'll also try to take a picture or two showing how gummy they are, how resistant to hits (falls in with the flexibility of it) it is, etc. Only $20.

Maybe not... these seem to look like more hikers. =S I may NOT drop $20 to try them....

I ordered a hybrid case from Fommy and a silicone case from ebay. I will let you know how they are when I get them in. The one from Fommy isn't set to ship until the 29th though. :( ;)

Good point....I tend to agree about 'snap on' cases with a slider...

crap,i should have looked here first!i just ordered one,was 17.50 shipped.i guess it might just stay in the package!
 
I also ordered a couple of them. I think they are held together by the slider mechanism they have and dont actually clip around your phone.. at least thats what Im hoping.
 
I too have made the mistake of buying this piece of crap(official case for moment) its horrible and nowhere near the 25 dollar price tag. I think ill be sticking to my side leather case offers much more protection. I hope sprint returns my money on this piece of krap
 
Just got in my jelly case off ebay. If you haven't already DO NOT BUY! It's a cheap piece of crap and adds a LOT of bulk to the phone. Because the plastic sliders stick out the ends of the phone it adds almost and INCH to the length. Doesn't stay on well and makes the slider super slow. I will post pic as soon as I locate my camera.
 
I also just got mine, but I went to a TSO concert this aft so couldn't post until now.:D

I'll second that it's not that great, cheap, but it doesn't look like it will damage the slider. And man does it pick up dirt and dust, I put it down on the carpet to take pictures and it looks like I threw it down in the dirt. Real quick shipping though. It will fit in one of my cases (if I shove it in) Not really liking it. I'll edit some photos in this post soon.
