We have a wooden tree that sits on a side table in front of the living room window.
Lights, garland, and everything. From the outside it just looks like a regular tree.
It's anchored down with zipties so that the cats can't knock it over.
I'd be happy to get my old Hallmark Charlie Brown set and have that be it. That's all we had for the Christmas I had when I got my first hip.

Our cat discovered one of her presents that wasn't wrapped but buried deep under the tree. I guess she gets a gift early.... not that she knows
