Root [CDMA] Any Jelly Bean roms available for HBOOT 1.58?

I just finally achieved S-OFF and ROOT on my 3D.

After the torture I went through through my incompetence, I am finally ready to get a rom. Now my question is this, since it seems like majority of rom are Ice Cream Sandwich, which roms are Jelly Bean and stable?
 
Jellybean roms require hboot 1.50 or below for this phone. All of the available jellybean roms are AOSP (stock android) and are not sense based like you are used to.

Lol what's the matter? It's not hard to change hboot but don't skip the part where you verify the md5 checksum. A bad bootloader flash will leave you permanently bricked. It's not something you want to be casual about ;)

Well, I'm going to need a hold my hand guide. It took me a week to S-OFF my phone due to multiple user errors. I don't want to mess up my phone:(

Just take your time. Read the instructions a few times. I think I broke it down to a pretty simple form with numbered steps. If you have questions ask them. Just wait until you understand before jumping in. Ask your questions before you start.

Ok, since I'm JPBear S-OFF, do I need a patched HBOOT?

From the 2.89.651.2 OTA:

Oh no. All 3 posts are for different things. You only need the hboot. The other thing you downloaded was a radio. And the 3rd thing you listed is all of the firmware from the ota update. All you need is the 1.50.5050 hboot from post 2. One zip file:)

if you are asking the advantage of the patched hboot over a stock hboot,the answer is simply that the patched version allows some extra fastboot commands,and it it allows full write to all partitions.

for what its worth,i dont typically run patched versions. an unlocked stock hboot allows the use of the most commonly needed fastboot commands (fastboot flash and fastboot boot) while offering a "failsafe" of sorts to prevent you from accidentally fastboot flashing a radio or hboot.

the safest way to change hboots IMO,is to use PG86IMG type files like brian linked.

now that youre s off,if you want to run a stock hboot,you can easily lock and unlock it with the zip files in this thread: http://androidforums.com/cdma-evo-3d-all-things-root/662615-how-change-your-lock-status-flag.html

if youre allready on the 1.50.5050 hboot,no need to change it(id advise messing with hboots and radios as little as possible). just be careful with the fastboot flash command :)
