Root [CDMA] boost mobile moto g

I also have a Boost moto g and cannot get the Motorola site to let me unlock the boot loader. I have followed the steps exactly like I should but nothing. Has Motorola changed their standing on the boost version of the moto g?

No, Motorola is compliant. Use a 3rd party internet explorer. I tried using chrome that came installed but could get nothing but errors. Boot loader unlocked, boot loader warning fixed, cwm installed and rooted. It can b done. Read read read :)

Roguefoxx is who's link I used. Had a little trouble with the adb/fastboot drivers and paths for windows, used a very very helpful piece of advice I learned from SuperR, creating a bootable USB live CD known as Slitaz to complete. If anyone needs help just ask I'd b glad to assist

I tried 3rd party browser. Still nothing. I spoke to someone on the phone@moto tech support and they informed me the boost version of the moto is NOT eligible for bootloader unlocking. I have also tried linking and unlinking my phone's account to Motorola. This is frustrating, one of the reasons I bought the G was because it can be rooted. If there is anyone out there willing to help me out please contact me. I will be willing to give my phone number for easy contact and all other info needed from the phone.

Im on boost..4.4 bought the phone 3 weeks ago. Fully unlocked, logo fixed, have cwm and rooted. It can be done. Must be a tiny error easily overlooked.

I bought my phone about the same time ago. I have checked and double and triple checked the procedure up to that point. I cannot find any errors.

If you are certain you did not make mistakes, it is unlikely anyone will be able to help you as all we know to do is follow the same instructions you did. I suggest contacting Motorola and asking why your device, and no others, is not able to unlock.

I did contact Motorola and their response was the boost version of the moto g is NOT unlockable. The person I spoke to then politely call me a liar when I told them I knew of more than a few people who had their bootloader unlocked on their moto g. Arguments soon followed and I ended up losing my cool and hanging up. I would like it if my phone could be rooted but I guess until I can afford another one I will let it go. I don't know what else to do or where to go with it. If anyone comes across a workable solution please let someone know. Thanks for the input.

I had trouble with mine at first when it wasn't activated yet. I activated and tried again and it unlocked first try with no problems. Hope this helps.
