Downloaded last night, then saw version 2 this morning. Doh! No worries, I haven't flashed yet, but will do once it downloads. I've been following PA for awhile now, and I'mn anxious to see how it's working now that it's in a more stable format.

That is why I unusually wait and watch, it is easy to Nandroid, but my time is limited, so a working phone for me is important, so I simply post and watch and read, once I see it much more stable, then I usually flash. But this Dev seems to be on top of stuff, so nice to see action in the world of 3VO again for new Roms, thought we were dieing for a sec there. Especially with Drop not doing much these days. Nice to see again ;)

Does not work on hboot 1.58 s-off. Get bootloops. Not sure if this was already covered, as I noticed another thread regarding the same issue and AOSP ROMs. Gonna flash .img file for 1.5 hboot and give it a go. Brian, I noticed in that other thread in this forum, you posted the PG86 file for someone. Is that just the firmware bits, or the whole shabang? Just need the bits. At work now, but I can flash pretty easily.

Yes, this is not for HBoot 1.58, 1.5 and less

That's just the 1.5 hboot that I posted. Pulled it from another file I made that had the whole kaboodle. :)

This was already spoken about in a different ROM thread.

How to fix broken camera/video feedback:

Download and flash buttered toast kernel:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927837

[Kernel] ButteredToasT ICS RLS09 | Linux 3.0.48 | linaro 4.7 -o3 | otg | HTC beats

Once booted up, go into settings, scroll down to developer settings.

Check disable HW Overlays
Check force GPU Rendering.

Reboot and camera along with video play back should work as it should.

Love it, I downgraded from hboot 1.58 to 1.50 and the rom works beautifully. Did the fix above and now I have no problems what so ever. Thanks guys for putting this out there.

Is there any way of putting a overclock kernel on here? I'm mostly just curious

have you tried tethering via usb? there's reports and like to hear for sure before i flash this in a bit.

it's already loaded up with buttered toast kernel. but i wouldn't see why not @ kernel.

Doing a quick flash here while I am at work, quiet a little here, so will play with it a bit. ;)

OK, spent an hour playing with the JB settings, one thing I did notice that was not there on the last JB Rom I played with, was when you wanted to create apps in a folder, it allowed you to check mark all the apps you want at once and then they would all be put in that folder you created. This one does not have that, at least not that I have found so far. I also am not a big fan of the settings layout, seems small in size. When I get a chance to play a little more later on I will post other stuff I notice. I did get a full lockup when put a widget on the screen, and really didn't want to take the case out to pull the battery out to reboot, so I called my phone and it unlock it, lol Also noticed no screen shot so far.

Ok just tested Wifi tether and worked fine with wife's tablet np

Edit: tested wireless only, not USB FYI

By the way screen shots do work, figured it out, and also I took a quick shot, I really didn't have much time to play tonight, but did a quick set up, will play a little more at work with it tomorrow. I did notice signal on WiFi is not that great and I am only 15 ft away, LOL

Hi all, I'm running into bootloops with this ROM (and the other JellyBean ROMs I've tried!) I know this is usually related to the bootloader, but here's what I've done:

Started with factory upgraded ICS, HBOOT 1.58, 1.09 Radio
HTC DevUnlocked
Installed 4EXT Recovery (Latest non-testing released today, RC7)
Flashed SuperUser
Performed Juopunutbear and wire trick to S-OFF, confirmed in bootloader
Downgraded from Juopunutbear 1.58 HBOOT to Juopunutbear 1.50, confirmed in bootloader that it is now showing 1.50
Wiped all but SD card in 4EXT, then individually wiped just to be damned sure
Verified MD5 of PA 2.50MMS against download site
Flashed ROM.
Flashed Google Apps.

And get nothing but nonstop bootlops as soon as the boot animation starts. I've tried this multiple times. Everyone is saying the downgrade to HBOOT 1.50 fixed bootloops on JellyBean ROMs for them, but can anyone confirm whether they are using the Juopunutbear 1.50 or stock 1.50 and which (or both) is working, if I've missed something critical in my steps, or what?

EDIT: Something else is wrong with my setup in general here; I just restored my nandroid to what I had before (stock rooted ICS) from 4EXT and it's bootlooping too. So I may have a bad HBOOT in general or something, I'll try flashing the stock 1.50 and see if that resolves it.

EDIT2: No joy. Flashed 1.40 HBOOT, did a format all in recovery, rebooted, tried PA which bootloops, my backup which also bootloops. Looks like an RUU is in my future.

EDIT3: OK, now I'm not sure what's going on - It booted! While I was looking for the RUU image I left it looping and when I looked back, it was sitting at the setup screen. I was able to set it up and verify I had 3G data and such, but the Play Store wouldn't work for me (kept saying Error, information could not be retrieved from the server). I've formatted cache + dalvik and reset the data and giving it another go now to see if that clears up.

EDIT4: Factory Reset and cache+dalvik wipe cleared the Play Store issues. Everything seems to be working now!

Glad to see you got all the issues worked out and are running it now.

How are you liking pa thus far?

What are you using for your widgets and icons? It looks really nice. Also, I haven't had enough time to really play with a non-sense rom yet, How did you use the sense clock? When I flashed I only had the one crappy analog clock in my widgets that I don't like. Your screen looks super nice. I'm thinking about flashing and playing around with PA this weekend so I'd like some options! ;)

I'd love to know about the icons too :p I've yet to figure out how to change them yet.
