Root [CDMA] Considering going down

DragonSlayer95

Resident Air Bender
Well I've been putting it off and really have no reason to go s off or downgrade to 1.4, but I'm really wanting to do something different since I'm very happy with my current rom sos lol. Main thing that worries me is there are large risks I should worry about while attempting to s off and downgrade? Mainly bricking is my worry lol. Thanks guys in advance :)

Forgot to mention as well I've had problems with my xda account since day 1 with posting in root and non root sections, can't refer to there.

Honestly I wouldn't want to attempt the downgrade method. I did the wire trick and it's pretty easy. I think you would be able to handle it!!

Watch the video for it to get the timing down. I don't think there is a huge risk for bricking with the wire trick. Just study a little before hand and make sure you understand all steps and where to touch the wires and all that!!!

I agree with James. I read up on the wire trick and re-read again. Didn't watch any videos and I managed to get it on the first try. I was done in just a few minutes.

Cool its not a need for me it's just that itch to do something different to my phone ya know?

Lol I know what you mean. I've been getting the itch too. I'm thinking about flashing a whole bunch of roms just for something to do lol.

Lol I've been running sosm for close to a month I believe and couldn't be more happy with it.

I've tried flashing a couple kernels to scratch that itch but the rom isn't too much liking them lol
