Just so you know - you can use this to mount /system rw - and then remove the Spiderman apk.

This is probably exactly the wrong way to go about that, but one of us had to guinea pig it.

LOL, this was the first thing I got rid of when I got it rooted using this same method earlier tonight. If it works then its the right method as far as I am concerned.

I zapped quite a few programs with root explorer the same way. Happy is me.

For those interested, the manual way to remount /system read/write is this:

mount -o rw,remount -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p23 /system

Manual = within adb shell as root

The usual way is to throw an adb remount, but I just noticed that isn't working on mine. Not a big deal, I've had that work/not-work on my Evo and as novox77 points out, a manual mount is always there.
