Isnt the official bootloader unlock update supposed to be available this month? This month is reaching an end and i still havent seen it... Any info im missing?

I thought it was an update that was being pushed to the phone.... Iv been checking for htc updates everyday lol... I thought all the ones out were like temporarys

not sure about that because unlocking "voids" your warranty and htc is not gonna give that to everyone

The update already happened a while back. It gave the phone HBOOT v1.5, which made it capable of handling the unlock mechanism on their website.
Check your HBOOT version.

turn off fastboot or pull battery. hold vol down plus power and it will boot into hboot
