It isn't officially out. He has a link on his Facebook Page! When I have enough time to set everything up I am probably going to switch to this Rom. I hate change but this one might be worth it.

No, I haven't tried it yet because I wanted to read up on the other one first and pick one to download. I'll check out the facebook link. (thats a big file!)
Yep most roms range from 400 to 700 mb. It's an entire os for your phone!
OK, I checked them both out pretty good and I think I will try the ZR3D for now and see how that works out and let you try the other one first

This rom is "really nice". Extremely smooth. For what I've done on it so far its shown to be fast too ( wish i could OC to about 1600 though). The visuals are slick as hell. You were right once again. I do like it

Glad you like it! I haven't tried the other one yet because I haven't had the time to really set it up. I'm picky having my setup so I don't like to leave it unfinished. I did flash it just to check it out really quick and it seemed fast and smooth and really nice! Like I said it's the first ics rom that has actually made me want to switch!
Man, you're just full of good info! I got the light but when I checked it out I went ahead and bought the Pro. Its got a shit-load of features. I haven't had a chance to look over everything it can do ( a lot ) but from what I can tell you can customize a Rom completely with it ( if you know what you're doing ). You set yourself up for a lot more questions from me I hope you know. As a matter of fact I have one about "customizing themes". Let me know if you want to hear it.

Lol sure you can ask anything! I haven't gotten into theming very much but be warned that using some things in rom toolbox will mess up your phone sometimes. It's easy to restore your backup but just make sure you have a good backup before changing things around.

I see the both of them all over different forums and they seem experienced with a lot of different softwares and phones. I'm so new to this sort of thing I know I need simplified instructions to do things.
My question about themes is that I want is an all black background and neon red or glowing red letters, numbers, keypads, app icons and bars and thats it, nothing else special as far as looks. How can I get it, make it or have it made. I've looked all over and found some that come close but compatibility is an issue with those most of them or they have too much fancy stuff. If you don't know just point me in the right direction. I would love to have a tutorial to do it myself but wouldn't mind paying someone for their work.
I know rom tooblox has a lot of themes you can browse through. Also you can find them on the play store. I think a whole bunch of them are made for specific roms. If you are really into theming you might want to look at CyanogenMod Roms... They have a lot of theme developers. Also you might want to peak in over at XDA developers forums. I think they have a lot of theme makers over there.
Yeah, I've been checking afew of those out espcially the Cyanogen ones. How well do their Roms Work on the 3D, or do you know? They have one theme I really like but don't know if its worth giving up this Rom.
Well they are non sense roms so quite a bit different. I actually kind of like the non sense but it's so different that I haven't wanted to stick with it and get used to it. There are generally broken things on aosp roms, 4G and 3d being the main ones. Sometimes the entire camera or wifi too :/

You could check one iu just for fun. Try devil toast. It's based on cm10. Make a backup before flashing and then you can restore right back after playing for a bit if you want. my computer was down or internet was messed-up yesterday so I couldn't halla back at ya. Is it possible to customize a rom by changing the boot scene or colors of the different themes already installed or is that type of stuff way out of the average persons league?

Well with rom toolbox you can give yourself a custom boot animation pretty easily. I'm not sure about changing colors. I don't really know how that works.
I think I'd like to try that too. The first thing I want to do is get rid of the lock screen that comes with it. I put another lock screen app on it and when I boot I have to unlock both of them. Is there a fix for that? And while I'm at it, can you tell me how to change the boot animation and make it boot faster? Thanks!
For the lockscreen:
Menu>Settings>ZR3D Tweaks>Lockscreen Mods (Check disable default lockscreen)
For boot animations go to the interface tab in rom toolbox and select boot animations. Hit menu>install location and make sure the the path is /data/local/ and that the filename is set to bootanimation.zip
This is rom specific.. Settings were different when I was on stock.. I think I also had to change some folder permissions i think.
So just browse the server for one you like and choose install... Backup your original settings first if you'd like. Menu>Backup/Restore ..
So if this doesn't change your boot animation, you may have to set the folder permissions.
Do this by swiping to the local tab. Then hit the little home icon. Then select data folder then longpress on the local folder and choose permissions. Check all boxes to read/write/execute. Then install again and it should work.
You can reboot faster by choosing hot reboot!
Uh Oh!! I disabled the default lockscreen and rebooted the phone to see if it worked and there is no lock screen but now I have a black screen that won't let me do anything. The 3G, battery and all that stuff is at the top but locked. How do I get into it to fix that?
Ugh, it has that warning about checking that option... But you said you have another lockscreen installed already? It says if you don't you won't be able to unlock your phone lol... Sorry it didn't work.. I have never tested because I'm not using a custom lock screen.
Unfortunately you may have to restore your nandroid backup
I like to make one every so often or before doing anything major. though I wouldn't have considered that major. That's a bummer that it didn't work.
Well if you can't get to your homescreen I don't think so.. Google play remembers everything you've bought though. So you can install without paying again! Hopefully you don't have to redo too much on your phone!
