Root [CDMA] Flash or not to flash

I'm not sure I will have to look into it more... You could possibly ask the developer on facebook too... zeroroms
I can never remember because in the app it is one way and in the recovery it is opposite... Do they not have the dates and times attached to the name?
Yeah, I think the date is part of the number set. It appears that the date is the first few numbers and who knows about the rest, maybe the time. Here goes. Oh, the other lockscreen was one of those "GO" apps and I didn't have the "GO" home page as default yet because I was still installing apps. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Although, even when it wasn't on the "GO" homescreen the "GO Locker" would still come up when I woke the phone up.
MY computer might be down for a while so I was wondering if I could download a rom straight to my phone's sd and install it when its done downloading. I know it sounds a little elementary but I know all that kind of stuff is tricky.
Yep i download straight to my phone all the time. Sorry I haven't responded. Wednesdays I play music so im more busy on Wednesday nights.
This might sound ridiculous but I just started a year ago. I studied books for a while and dismantled some junk guitars then started building. You probably think a beginners guitars might not look worth a crap but I guarantee you, you've never seen any like mine. I spend a lot of time on them on the set-up and ballance....that is key. Anyway, if you would like to see some pics tell me how to get them to you.

Hey, I had to make a Facebook page to send zeroroms a message to ask a question. All I did was leave a post, is that good enough to get a reply or do I have to do that "friend request" thing?

EMERGENCY!!!!!! I have no signal what so ever and a message about data keeps showing up. I read that this might be an issue with ZR3D. What do I do now. I was on the phone with Verizon for 30 min and they still could not fix it. ASAP!
Hey Devov. I have the same problem with this rom. It doesn't seem to get as good of a signal in some areas. I have bad service at my house and it's even worse with this rom. But it works fine for me in good coverage areas.
The message I assume is the roaming warnings. Do you get charged for roaming? Neither carrier I've used has ever charged for domestic roaming. You can turn off the warnings like so: Menu>Settings>Wireless and Networks>Mobile Networks>Roaming Guards Uncheck Voice and Data under the Domestic Heading.
Also back one menu screen you can uncheck Data Roaming Sound if you'd like.
I have no problems roaming. It just makes my phone work when it normally wouldn't.

I had to go all the way back to my Stock Sprint Rom to get things back working. Crap!!! Can you help me find a Rom or Kernel that doesn't do that? I would really appreciate that. I really can't stand the stock rom. How do I erase all the unnecessary backups I have now on nandroid backups?
Sorry to hear that the rom do didn't work out. I don't really know what rom to suggest because I haven't used a lot. This is the first rom I have really used after flashing several. The cool thing is you can flash any rom that sounds good and if you don't like it just restore! This is a good opportunity for you to download several roms and just try them out. Sorry for taking so long to reply. I had a really hectic day and my brain is pretty much just shot for the night. I'll look over some roms tomorrow when I get a chance and try to suggest something!
Also to manage backups you can download the 4ext recovery app and delete with that or just browse your sd card with any file explorer. On your sd card they are in the clockworkmod folder.

Thanks for checking on some Roms for me. I really liked that one. The thing is now I checked off the roaming notices and eventhough I have coverage every once in a while a weird notice will pop up that I don't recognize. I did all the wiping and everything I could think of but whatever the bug is its in there deep. Oh well, I'm sure some genius will think of something...damn sure won't be me
I think I'll start another thread on finding someone to design a theme for my 3d, the way I want it... am I allowed to post more than one thread?I put up another thread on custom themes, hope I get a hit. I think I'm going blind looking for a Rom that might work. XDA has a lot of short hits on the roaming subject but not a lot of detail. Is my understanding right about most custom roms not having great reception qualities but added roaming features that make red flags pop up to service providers?
What hboot and what build is your phone on? 2.17? Are you running stock gingerbread right now?
