Where can I find a stable (everything working) lollipop ROM for boost mobile? I'm still using the cm11 Kit Kat ROM & I want lollipop now. What do I need to do? Is there a thread for one?

This rom is technically a soak test, not an official stock rom, so I did not think it was appropriate to create a thread for it. However, everything works very well. I have been running it for over a month.
 
Oh I see, well that makes sense. I know with CM11 I get at least 10 freezes & restarts a day so I'm glad to see this. But one more question, does this soak test eat up half of the 4gb storage? I think I read that somewhere in this thread.

Yes there are actually, There's two Boost specific builds for Boost Moto G...One by CodyF86 and one by Meticulus specifically built for CDMA Cody's is very stable and built with Linaro 4.9.

Hey first of all thanks for your work as well as the others that really contribute to our cdma version.

I know you said you wouldn't reveal how you came to possess the soak test update, but I'm just wondering if it was acquired recently seeing how the talk of 5.1 update is about to drop. Are they still pushing the soak test so close to the next official update? Im just trying to get gauge on process of things.

The soak test came over a month ago. 5.1 is supposedly coming soon.

I am only aware of SuperR's Soak test for the XT1031. It took me a few times to install it to get everything working perfectly. And that wasn't SuperR's problem it is my own tendency of tweaking Roms to get the most bang for the buck.

I have heard of an other one by someone called Cody, but I have never tried it.

According to my ex girlfriends brother, the 5.1 soak tests will start rolling out no later then the end of August. And that is if everything goes well. However there are so many variants of the Moto g that it could takes several months for a specific variant to even get a soaktest

It'll be way before August, there may be 5.1.1 by that time but the MR will be pushed long before then there's just too many issues in 5.0.2 for them not to release the patches. AOSP is already at 5.1 r5 so...I guess we'll wait and see.
 
How long has LP been out since November 2014, and it has taken how long to get a working soaktest for the XT1031. My hopes are not up for a quick release of 5.1
 
I am on lollipop 5.1, it is CodyF86's cm12.1, working very smooth on xt1031- Boost CDMA. Using it from last two days. Better battery backup compare to soak test.

True, Lollipop was pushed to AOSP in November. First Moto G variants started updating later that month, you have to consider the shear volume of device variants(GSM, GSM Dual Sim, CDMA, GPE etc) and the multitude of carrier partners not to mention the rapid fire release of all the "fix" versions for AOSP...the lag in releases in my experience is the carrier partners. Been a Motorola Android user since the OG Droid. Be patient and they'll release a stable 5.1.X update, 5.0.2 is just plagued with too many issues. Memory, kernel panics, WiFi issues etc...trust me it'll be worth the wait. [emoji106] [emoji4]

Oh I have taken that into Consideration. That is why I said my hopes aren't up for a quick release. There is a F*$Kton of Moto G variants out there. I think at last count where are 14 different variants of the 1st gen moto g. That said, even though this is a soak test, she is a very, very stable rom. My only complaint is that the phone hangs for a few seconds if she has been on all when I am asleep (I work at night, so when I am asleep the rest of the world is up).
