Xposed caused issues for me as well when I first installed it. Do a factory reset in recovery and then boot up. Go back into recovery and flash the Xposed zip and then install the apk. It should work fine then. I have no idea why Xposed causes issues when installed the first time, but it does.I finally installed the debloated rom and flashed SuperSU. I did not install the partition updater. I removed the Battery tracer and Exchange apps because they were annoying, but otherwise everything is working well so far. I like some of the new features of 5.0.2, but it will take some time to get used to for sure. Not crazy about the bright colors, I prefer black overall.
Xposed for Lollipop - I tried installing it and had some issues. First and foremost, I can't get it installed lol. I flashed the zip, installed the apk, and when going into the app it says i need to flash the zip to install it. I have done that several times so far with no luck. Additionally, it makes boot very slow and upgrades all my apps every time I reboot. At this point, i have removed all the things the zip added and renamed all the files back to the original, and everything is back to normal. I may be doing something wrong but I am about to go back to 4.4.4 since I need my Xposed. Any ideas?
edit: how do I put the device in silent mode? can't find it anywhere, and lowering the volume all the way down only goes to vibrate. Feel like a noob again![]()

Lollipop doesn't have a true silent mode. This is super annoying to me because this causes my watch to not actually mute my phone when connected to it. Ironically, there is a Xposed module that'll add a true silent mode. Works well but I have to manually unmute it when my watch is charging, when it KitKat it did it by itself.
I feel the same way. I've been trying to replace whatever apps I can with Team Black Out apps. It was really annoying going on XDA in Chrome and having the header orange like all the links on the page. Had to uninstall the stock and make the TBO Chrome a regular app and it's all nice and black now. Hopefully they make more LP compatible apps. I noticed the volume issue too, had it on vibrate and still had message tones.I finally installed the debloated rom and flashed SuperSU. I did not install the partition updater. Gotta say battery life is pretty good. 82% remaining and off charger for nearly 4 hours with some heavy use.

Edit: did you try installing the Xposed apk then flashing the zip?
True Silent module for Xposed also works really wellhttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adriaoneves.silentmodetoggle
This is what I've been using on my Nexus and my Moto G...it doesn't work on some 3rd party apps but its a interim solution.
Nice, if it works I will be very pleased. I've been thinking for the last 2 days I've got to figure out how to port something to this thing. THANK'S!http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...ps/mod-material-black-theme-lollipop-t2958812
There's a port guide if anyone is interested... [emoji1]
Use TWRP and set the screen time out low and lock the screen and let it go black then tap power and unlock the screen and it should be good. Just do that when ever you enter recovery minus changing the screen time out. Just remember, if you didn't know already, TWRP won't flash XT1031 stock zips that the updater script says its for XT1031. It will say the file is for XT1031 and the device is XT1032. You can change the updater script if you know what your doing.Everything else works great, its just annoying to see in recovery
Tired Selinux Mode Changer but it sets selinux too late. It needs to be way sooner. Init.d sets it sooner but I guess it's still not soon enough. I think one problem may be without a reboot option that shuts everything down then restarts rather than just all of a sudden cuts everything off. I know hard resetting g will switch selinux back to enforcing. I don't know about a manual power off and back on though.Check out "SELinux Mode Changer"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrbimc.selinux
Will absolutely hard brick your phone, set your house on fire and make the nearest dog bite you.
Don't use it because I have no idea what it could do to this phone.
Mentioned for entertainment purposes only.
Look at the script order in init.d and the earlier init scripts in etc.
Easy way to assess storage at a glance -

The two apps in the last link are completely safe.
Here is a debloated version. Have not tested it but it should be good. Will save 284.4MB in your systemI also removed the stock recovery stuff so it won't keep trying to replace your custom recovery when you reboot. It is still not rooted, so flash SuperSU if you want root.

That's what I did rather than waste my data. No problem. I'm gonna unzip the ROM and do that to it.@SuperR would it be OK to remove those same apps with a file explorer on the stock ROM?
