Root [CDMA] Help with unlocking BOOTLOADER Please!

Okay i finally found out how to root my Evo thanks to some members here but i tried alot of rooting methods and trying to unlock my bootloader all it says in cmd after all the commands is <waiting for device> i have all the drivers installed but it just wont work..i have an evo 3d runing 2.3.4 and hboot 1.49.012 , Help me please.

Are you connected to a USB 3.0 port? If so, try a 2.0 port or 1.1 port. Fastboot doesn't like USB 3.0. Also try Mini SDK. You can find that, plus a guide, here: http://androidforums.com/evo-3d-all...ms-kernels-using-fastboot-updated-3-26-a.html
