Root [CDMA] HORRIBLE Network Speeds, Advice?

Hi All,

I'm getting RIDICULOUS network speeds, have been getting these speeds for the past week or so (maybe longer). First day to really test out what the speed is:

First network time outs OFTEN (25-40% of the time I go to play store it times out)

Tests show somewhere around 20-30 kbps (yes that means I'm getting 2-3 kb/s downloads). I mean the phone is essentially unusable as a smart phone with these speeds.

My phone is rooted and tests have been done on two different roms, same results. I'm willing to try out stock rom (either ICS or non ICS) if I can get a link to it....Also I have been in two cities (San Diego where I live and then I went to Las Vegas where speeds were even worse, 95% of the time I had no connection at all)

Any other advice appreciated

When I had my first 3vo, at one point it got stuck in "1xrtt" mode and wouldn't switch over to 3g.

Unless someone else Chimes in with a better solution. I couldn't think of a fix other than having it replaced.
