Root [CDMA] HTC EVO 3D (Flashed on Boost) Update Issue?

I have an HTC Evo 3D which I have been unable to update for MONTHS! I never really cared too much until now since the new ICS update was released. My phone is flashed to Boost Mobile. My girlfriend also has the same phone flashed to Boost Mobile and her phone has never had issues updating. Below is a picture of the update I am stuck on. I hit download, blah blah blah, it restarts and nothing happens. When I go to System updates and check HTC software, the same update pops up again. Does anyone have any idea what my problem is? I called HTC and they are dumb as bricks! Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing the "flashing" of the device might have caused some problems. Let's hope someone who's familiar with this type of situation might chime in to assist.

Have you tried resetting the device?

That would be my guess as well since it was flashed to boost and it is a sprint update

more than likely being flashed on another carrier is your issue. the OTA is trying to handshake to your handset and its not getting the response it needs, so the update hangs.

moving this to the root section since it may be necessarily to grab a ROM for this.

I have tried resetting the phone and believe it or not, it does nothing aswell. It restarts and everything. Stays the same.

The reason I'm stumped is because as I mentioned above, my girlfriend also has a and HTC EVO 3d which is also flashed to boost and was flashed by the same person on the same day. Her phone updates fine (already has ICS update) and it resets as well.

Just doing this Google search It sounds like you might have to flash back to sprint to take the update then go back to boost.

I know nothing about being flashed to another carrier so take my post lightly. I just did a quick search as that is all I can offer...
