Root [CDMA] HTC EVO V Boot loop

Hello, I have the VM HTC EVO V 3D. I installed 4EXT and tried to install a couple roms to test. They all failed and were stuck in the boot animation.

I was able to recover into my Harmonia rom initially then i tried to flash another rom which did not work. After that i was unable to recover back to harmonia.

I tried installing the ODEX rom (which has worked for me before) which did not work.

The RUU i have tried to use to get back to factory reset (yes i relocked) and i get the Error 131 CID error.

Here are my specs please help me if you guys know anything else i can try.

I currently have Clockwork recovery installed.

Are you sure you ran the correct ruu? Check out this link and download the one that starts with "RUU_Shooter_ICS_35_S_Sprint_WWE_VM_1.13.652.2". I believe that third one from the top. On your computer the file should be 418 mb. Unfortunately no md5 checksum is listed.

Also have you changed your cid? I know that people often change it to all zeros. Are you on vm or have you flashed to another carrier?

Just try the ruu that I posted a link to as that I the easiest thing to try first.

I figured it out. it was in fact the incorrect RUU.

No big deal. Glad you got it! It's an easy thing to do. Just be extra careful in the future and ask if unsure. Incorrect ruu can cause you to own an expensive brick

I'm not exactly sure what an RUU is either... please help....
