[xjtsx]

Evo 3d root, now market missing and cant install vending.apk! I also tried to restore my google apps backup from TWRP, but no luck. Anyone else having these problems? Or is there a thread i am not seeing covering this?!

did you flash a ROM after you rooted? Nothing should have changed with your factory ROM (except the addition of su) after the rooting process.

Easiest way to fix is to find a rooted stock ROM and flash it. I used this one:
[ROM] Base sense stock rooted rom [1.0] [HTC stock] 07/29/11 - xda-developers

there are a few more over at xda.

Or - Get the NEW Android Market Now [Download]

Also remember to do a nandroid backup ever so often. With the root process and these different roms/kernals etc... being a couple of days old there are bound to be numerous bugs so nandroid nandroid nandroid.
