Are your partitions up to date? You can run the partition updater in the OP to be sure.

The google search may be stopping because you need to update other system apps. If you can get to the play store, try updating everything and reboot.

alright so in order to make that work i have the files downloaded, and then how do i get the command prompt open to put in those commands? I havent done this stuff in a while so i kinda forgot, sorry!

If you are using windows, I will not be much help. To get the command prompt, it is called cmd.exe but I don't know how to get it to the correct directory.

Just go to the directory you have the files in and click "File" in upper left corner, then click on "Open Command Prompt". There you have it, your command prompt will be open to the directory you need.

The instructions listed above are for Windows 8. Below is for Windows 7.

Press and hold the Shift key and right click on the folder or drive that you want to open a command prompt with the focus at, and click on Open Command Window Here.

No, you will need to update to 4.4.2 first. The partition updater gets you from the the first 4.4.2 update to the second 4.4.2 update. You can update to the first 4.4.2, then flash the partition updater, then flash the rom.

alright, and I wipe cache/dalvik cache and factory reset both before when i install the partition updater and before the rom? or when should i do those

Update to 4.4.2, flash the partition updater, then follow the instructions in the OP for flashing this rom.

the update removed cwm :( will I have to install both by fastboot then?

Fastboot cwm, then flash the updater and rom through cwm.

edit: or you can let the 2nd 4.4.2 update happen, then fastboot cwm and flash the rom only

i fastbooted cwm but then when i go into it shows an android logo with its stomach open and a red triangle with an exclamation point

edit: so it doesnt boot into cwm

nope, it still does the same thing :'(

edit: It also says "mismatched partition size" on the phone when I finished doing it but it still installed successfully.

I got the mismatched partition message too, but it works fine. If I remember correctly, you need to reboot into cwm from the fastboot menu right after flashing it. The menu is weird though. Use volume down to move to recovery, then volume up to select it.

it worked! and i installed this rom successfully with no errors, everythings cool! \(^_^)/ thanks sir! YOU THE REAL MVP. You've heard this a million times but thank you so much, my problem was solved!
