you can't do it via usb but you can do it via micro hdmi.

They vary largely by vendor and length. But a shorter cable will probably run you in the $10-20 range.

Ok I got a micro hdmi cord from radio shack and it doesn't fit my phones charger port. They said they don't make them any other shapes or sizes so how do I get this little plug into my phone

Ah crap, I forgot about that. It's because the USB port is a MHL port, not a micro HDMI port. You just need one more converter. It's called a micro HDMI to MHL adaptor.

If you type that into Google, you'll get plenty of returns.

Also, most of them are full HDMI and not micro HDMI, so you might want to return that micro HDMI cable.

Already ordered the converter and cord (proper one) and returned the other one
