Root [CDMA] Not feelin it yet, who's with me?

I also just used a youtube walkthrough and had no trouble up to achieving S-OFF. Its when I got to flashing CWM that the program crashed on me when I typed in Y and hit enter, so I had to flash it manually using the fastboot method that was posted on here. Hands-Free activation worked normally after the recovery flash and installing superuser so I didnt have any problems with data or voice errors. I learned the adb way on my Droid, so it wasnt too bad, but I could see a noobie totally freaking out at what happened to me.

OK Now I'm feeling it. I took the OTA upgrade with the new 1.50 bootloader which killed my temp root. I waited around but did not see a root for this version except the HTC one. So, with the help of a video I jumped in! The water is fine! I am glad that I backed up with Titanium while I had temp root, as the method clears everything and Titanium helped me get it all back, except for my text messages. That's OK, most of them I did not want anyway. Now working on getting swype to work again. Seems to be a little issue but I'll try to re-install and see what happens.

OK checked back later and all my text messages are there! Cool.
