Root [CDMA] [Q] Backing up before switwching roms....?

invince

Newbie
-I am using Titanium backup pro right now.
-Previously i was on mwakious and backed up all apps using Titanium Backup (346 apps + data).
-Flashed a sense 4.0 rom.
-All apps gone.
-Installed Titanium Backup and clicked restore apps + data.
-Had to install all the 346 apps one by one...(Time taken about 1-2 hours ! :/ )

So my question is IS THERE A WAY TO RESTORE MY APPS + DATA FAST...NOT INSTALL ONE BY ONE...LIKE HOW IT BACKS UP MY APPS....

Also i backed up the mwakious rom using 4ext recovery...Can anyone tell if now i restore that backup will it be with the apps ???

I believe if you are using the paid app of TB Pro, then it offers multiple installs

What do u mean by multiple install ?

Pro tb offers batch backup/restore

Also if you restore your back up of your Rom it will be push your system back to the way it was as if you never even flashed

By the way as well I myself don't believe you need to backup the system apps + data through tb if your using 4ext to make your nandroids, just back up your user apps. Makes it a lot more simpler once you flash.

^^^^ Ditto and or simply use Google server to install your apps

Mybackup root works great and its free on the play store. I've been using it for years cause of that problem with tb and having to install one by one on the free version.

One thing to keep in mind, as it is nice to back up your apps with it's data, but it is also the cause of issues when restoring. When installing a new Rom, IMO I recommend always doing a proper fresh install of all apps.
