No MMS we probably won't get MMS work 100% so stock or 3rd party apps for MMS

But I guess since in I'm posting if anyone is still having problems with MMS then use textra app. It let's you set custom APN and it's got lots of extra features too. Everything else usually works just fine except MMS until I do that.

Right now I'm running crom (which i think has more options than pac and doesn't have ram bug issue at all.) and newest pink kernel and running great has halo working and lots of other options check it out is worth the install even with crom kernel that comes with it.

What is crom?

Crom is a great and stable rom for this phone. I just updated the thread to include the new updates and new kernels available to the masses. Will be updating with other things (apps and others) related to this phone soon.

Any idea why crom won't DL? I been trying many ROMs so far I like Liquidsmooth.. I see C-ROM maybe my best but can't test it

I'm using ASOB. freaking awesome but ill try that ROM too in case if it is better. ASOB has no issues so far. Liguidsmooth had system force close issues.. Cm had ramdisk and other ROM was too simple lol.. BTW thnx

I didn't like asob my self didn't have enough options for me and didn't seem to run as smooth as crom but that's just my experience

ASOB had more options then other ROMs I saw. I'll try c ROM soon

Edit:C-ROM is good has more but freezes as the only ROM that doesn't act up is AOSB

Tattooedgod, thanks for this thread! Just got the moto g a couple days ago, unlocked, rooted, & ready to go! Prob gon give crom a try, can't wait until cm releases a stable ROM for our device without bugs.

What variant of the phone so you have & what carrier? Not sure if it's true but I've heard the Verizon variant doesn't allow unlocking...


Cool.. Imo you should never use IE it's the most garbage browser there is! Glad to hear you got everything worked out.

Now that you're unlocked, get rooted & check out xposed! 🙌😁

We got some new members to the Moto G ROM family and A new OS Firefox. FireFox still has some issues, but if there worked out will be great new option for the Moto G.

I pretty sure FauxKernel is also compatible with stock I forgot to add it last time I updated sorry for that.
