Root [CDMA] [ROM] - Evo 3D CDMA - PAC [OFFICIAL]

Do and advance and you will be fine ;) If issues you can always Nandroid back ;)

Buhhhh. I just got completely settled on .12
I think I'll just sit tight for awhile. If it ain't broke.....

Update: Well I really love this Rom, but there is something about this Rom that truly does not like my phone, I have given the best shot I could, but just can't deal with the reboots again and constant lockups. I really did give it time, it started off promising, but the pass few days have simply gone downhill and I use my phone too much to have these issue right now, maybe down the road again but for now back to LF Rom. Before you all ask I have tried every different setting for the kernel so I am sure it is not the kernel, something within this Rom that beats up my phone, sorry I will be back down the road and try again after a few more releases I guess. ;)

Don. Can I ask what firmware you are on? Are you still on 2.89 build but with hboot 1.4?

I have not been having those issues. I am on all the 2.17 firmware including the 1.5 hboot. Might be worth a shot to hit up my Firmware thread and flash 2.17 from the 3rd post in the thread. If you are still on the ics build that is....

Umm good question, I can't check on JB as it does not show, but I am almost sure I am still on 2.17, I don't believe I ever update to 2.89 and I really don't want to Nandroid back to Sense to see right now ;)

You could try a fastboot getvar all.

I be curious to find out if it can also be done from Terminal Emulator, good to know when not near a PC

I've been running PacMan for a couple days now and I gotta say this rom is very sleek, smooth and free of all the garbage and bloaware. Everything is working fine as of this post.

I installed it with the latest ButteredToast kernel oc to max 1728 and min 192 and it's running fine. Battery performance is good even with those settings. But I'm going to lower the max setting to around 1296.

I was really into PA rom but since it was discontinued, I made a switch to this and this one is even better! Loving it.

I did notice that this rom runs better if you're on the Eng 1.04 hboot and not the Jbear 1.50. I got slowdowns and sluggishness with Jbear so I switched to Eng and it's been running buttery smooth. No issues at all, everything works. My installation method was to flash the rom, then gaapps, then pacextras, and finally the buttteredtoastkernel all together and then reboot. After booting up, let it sit idle for around 10 minutes before using. Then reboot.

If you do it that way, you don't have to go back into recovery multiple times and having to wipe cache/dalvik each time after installing the main Pacrom.

I am on HBoot 1.4 and that is pretty much how I flash my Roms, it just does not like my Phone, it happens.

Actually I was lying down and said to myself now that I think of it, I am almost sure I had flashed 2.89, so I got up and checked again and I have no clue what I saw earlier, but I am 2.89. I will ask CMB first to see if that could be the issue before downgrading to 2.17, I know others on 2.89 don't have this issue, but it is interesting thought. I will edit my other post, I need to have my eye checked, LOL

Bummer, was hoping maybe we were on to something. :(

OK - I am on Eng 1.04 - 2.89 Firmware - Clean install of the .15 ROM -

Love it...GPS - Bluetooth - all work fine....
My ONLY issue - it gets Laggy after about 24 hours. A reboot cleans it up.
Had the same issue with one of Mazda's AOKP Roms a while back.

I'm on 2.89 firmware also even though my phone is the Virgin 3D. I flashed the 2.89 latest Sprint 3D firmware/radio/hboot zip, then downgraded to Eng 1.04 hboot.

Mine has been working fine over two days now with no slowdowns and battery is very good (12-15 hours) on moderate use even though I have it slightly overclocked at 1296MHz.

That's a bummer :/
Have you tried reflashing the firmware/radio/hboot and the recovery?

Maybe you had a corrupted download of one of those. Just a suggestion

Yep I sure did, looks like CMB has also had the odd reboot and he thinks it was caused by Aroma, so he will release a new version shorty he says. ;) Makes me feel better when the Dev has had some issues also.

That's cool. I hope his new release works for you. I'm gonna stay with 19.0.15 for now unless the new release is a major one. :)

Looks like the BT issue might have been Kernel related, BW release a few releases since, thanks for the heads up MHC

- RLS15.1:
BLUETOOTH: reverted patch for bluetooth wakelock since issues appear to have started after I applied it.

I hope to see an update to this ROM. Anyone knows if I could replace the camera with the 4.2 photosphere camera for this ROM?
