Root [CDMA] [ROM] - Evo 3D CDMA - PAC [OFFICIAL]

Camera isn't working on the new shooter PAC Rom 2013 04 30 update. Reinstalled...same issue...Camera just errors and closes out. Reinstalled the 2013 04 25 Rom and the camera is working again.

Anyone wants to try an early beta still got more to add but coming along well? Some new features the team came up with like PAC in Black and lots of device specific stuff I been working on its up now for CDMA on http://pac.cmbaughman.com/pac I will have the new one for everyone prob by tomorrow eve. Let me know if it fixes the video record issue. And I updated the Cyanogen kernel by Team Hydra but forgot to put in the extra governors and such so I'll take care of that too.(right now just ondemand, interactive, conservative, etc...) But running it now and seems cool. Enjoy!

I flashed the NEW* shooter_PAC_JB_4.2.2-
v22.1.0_20130504-131101.zip an there was a problem while booting did anyone experience this also??

So far PERFECT. User Accounts seems to work now!
In order for this to work I have to delete the bootanimation.zip using the "file explorer" in: allow program to root ...System/media/bootanimation.zip....otherwise it will be stuck on the animations "loading screen"

No issues flashing here, are you doing a full wipe ??

Here is a treat for anyone that wants a preview, I made a new version of my ChameleonOS or Chaos for short CDMA only at the moment but once I understand johnnyslt's video changes I'll put out the GSM for both. Anyway here it is:http://pac.cmbaughman.com/pac/cos-0....AL-shooter.zip
Make sure to look for some themes on the ChameleonOS and just copy the .ctz file to your sdcard/Chaos/theme directory and it will auto install. Wimax and most stuff should work I believe and Ill have more coming over on that forum.

In meantime I got a TON of updates as I have added more Linaro Android projects to PAC and more PA fixes thats on its way too. Been a light week I guess.

0505 cdma build comments:

- I followed the usual clean install routine (i.e wipe all partitions (except sd card), wipe cache/dalvik, flash rom, flash gapps, wipe cache/dalvik). updating and installing apps from market was fine.

- Ribbons = awesome. some fun additional functionality and customization.
Haven't tested everything yet. On lockscreen ribbon, if I set a custom app (i.e. gallery in this example), it launches but doesn't unlock the screen. If I then unlock via the ring the gallery is open. (logcat attached to my xda post)

- ultra black from 0504 is good times too. i hadn't recognized how gray my black was.

- pictures are fine, video freezes/reboots. logcat attached to my xda post.

- in 0504 build, i had in instance of the dialer "hang up" button not responding at all. other parts of the screen would grab work. I hit the power button, unlocked, then it was fine. if the quickly did a "logcat -d" or saved alogcat's read after seeing this, would it catch it you think?


(cmb, are you a fan of the -v long ? )

I just did the last build Sunday. Looks like I'll be doing this one tonight or tomorrow. :D

Changelog? Xda isn't working for me right now :(

1.04HBoot-S-off an it don't work I tryed deleting the boot animation in system media an it don't allow me I'm completely stumped cuz my brother has the Same phone same hboots an works fine on his an just don't boot threw it glitches at boot animation an I whip catch an dalvic catch an same thing happens I let it reboot a bunch of times it goes threw once but reboots fast an den gets stuck on a boot. loop I fixed that tho just don't have no idea how to make it work ..ideas????? just want to experience the fun lol
 
ribbons? nice

random question, but does anyone know what name, and where the mp3, ogg, or other file needs to be placed, for a custom boot sound on this rom? (if possible) tried a few places but haven't figured it out yet
 
What are the ribbons? That's new. I have a general knowledge of ribbons but I'm not sure what they are in the rom or how they are implemented.
 
there's 7 places they can be in this rom, i put some random things in the places

wonder if there's a way to increase the target area cause trying to get it to come up is quite a bit of guess work (edit: or you can mess with the settings to make the bar appear, so you know where too, and keeping the thickness at atleast half helps too)

(fresh wipe, gapps not even installed yet, in case i break it while messing with boot anim. stuff, lol)

Basically it works like an application called Swapps. You can swipe it from the left/bottom/right side of your screen, and it will show you shortcuts for applications or settings. I haven't tried all the features, but it's pretty nice..
 
anyone else having an issue where when 'power off' is chosen in the power menu, the phone reboots instead, making me have to go into the bootloader or recovery to properly shut it off without doing a battery pull (happening on a less then an hour old fresh wipe, with nothing installed)

I just turned my phone once since flashing, and it seems ok to me. Have you tried wiping cache/dalvik?
