Root [CDMA] TWRP or CWM?

K so you have flashed it ?? I also noticed the backup I did of my Stock Rom, it had 8 files in it, then I upgraded to the 15 and that backs up with 9 files now, a WiMax IMG file, any clue what that is now, does that save our Wimax settings ??

I still did not flash the new recovery, as I like to make sure it is safe to do so, I guess better safe than sorry, LOL I guess you can always reflash an old recovery, lol

it looks no different that their previous recovery. perhaps just bug fixes maybe more menu items havent gone through it all

i have not found any issues, i dont use the haptic buttons, volume rocker and power button work just fine

What is the latest on the new recovery released by CWM 5.0.1.0 has it made a difference from the previous version ??

If you're unable to load CWM 4.0.1.5 and are still on CWM 4.0.1.4, then TWRP is definitely the way to go. CWM 4.0.1.4 cannot charge while power is off. That right there would be a dealbreaker for me, and should be a concern for anyone else.

However, if the newest version is available and you're doing a comparison, I like CWM a slight bit better. TWRP didn't clear out my batt stats properly. I don't know if that's only my unit or other people see it as well. But it's organized a little better and is more noob-friendly, IMO. Except if you select the wrong thing. Sometimes it doesn't let you back out. Like I forgot to wipe my dalvik one time, and had already selected to flash a zip from SD card, I couldn't exit back to the menu to wipe dalvik. I never liked that about TWRP. But, like I said, it is organized a little better and is customizable, to a degree. And the customized way of doing backups is neat.

CWM does everything it needs to do, does it well, just is not organized in a way that you would expect.

The CWM file i have is called scorpion-mini, how do i know if it is vs 4.0.1.5 OR CWM 4.0.1.4??? Thx
