dont get me wrong, i use xda daily, but it just seems like through all the flaiming and what not it is not a user friendly place any more

Yes. My favorite was when someone very new recently tried telling Haus how things worked. (For those unaware - Haus is a very well known developer, the guy in question was someone with a phone and PC who decided he was an instant genius, having never developed anything.)

People were nice to him - they laughed at him, but they were nice to him.

So, hopefully, the new policy will work out.

The master list for us is already pointing off-site from XDA, see OMJ's rom for example.

Plus, if this develops into an issue, we can always host the list here.

And we do recognize rom and kernel devs here and will give them their own forum that they can manage.

Just an update, its been a few days now but I have no heard anything back after sending PM?
