Root change dialer screen

hi to all devs from this forum there is any way to change the dialer screen when you making a call not the dialer numbers but the one that cames out when you on a call you know the green screen with red and green square buttons on the lg esteem zve thanks guys with something like this

But seriously.... I don't have time to mess with it. If you know how to navigate through root files, and edit pictures and such.... I can try and walk ya through it.

i really want to change my dialer screen just point me to what folders and what do i have to do with the right wallpapers

Download ninjamorph. Then go into file manager and navigate to /system/app/ folder

Copy phone.apk. and paste somewhere on your SD card where you can find it later.

Open ninjamorph. Start new project. Your gonna find that phone.apk that you put on your sd

Once it is extracted, look in Res/drawablehdpi folder (I think)

Select the green or red background picture you spoke of.
Then you can replace it with any PNG you want. Your gonaa wanna use a pic thats the same resolution though.

After your change everything you wanna change.... rebuild... zip align, etc.

Then copy/overwrite your newly edited apk to system app


Warning.... you can replace any or the PNG files with a PNG of your own. Don't mess with the PNG9 files though. They are a whole different animal.

ok i will give a shot right now i will buy u 24 pack of coronas cause we dont have victorias on this usa they on mexico only dont know why
 
one more question what i wanna try to do is change the all calling screen you know the way to answer the phone like the pic not just change the color on the icons and the still will be square can i do that with ninjamorph bro or not

Now that may be more tricky. What phone is that for? Do u have a link to the apk or rom? I may give it a shot whenever I find some free time

I edited my original post.

I mean don't mess with png9 files!

Png9 files are basically a little tiny picture that will stretch automatically as needed by program.

For example.... in some messaging apps you have a bubble around your text. The bubble is a Png9, and will stretch around the text that is entered.

Special tools are required to edit them.

A regular. PNG file on the other hand, you can replace or edit however you want.... just keep the size/resolution the same
 
Shure dover the phone is samsung galaxy attain 4g just give me 15 minutes until my wife gets home she got that phone and I got rot on it so I can take the phone. Apk and send it to you thanks again

ive been trying but like i said,looks like a bunch to swap around and i personnaly dnt think it will be like he expects,i could b wrong,wouldnt be the first lol,good luck dover,let me kno if u get anywhere

And prob some other things

lol yea i knocked out my 4g but wifi worked,but hell ive prob did more that ive not noticed yet lol,i just see tomany things in his apk that i just dont know how the esteem would do it ? guess it will be some more breaking things until someone figures out the puzzle ; )
 
lol i thought is going to be easy but i guess not i just try to copy the phone apk to my system folder and i endup with no signal then i change the icons
green and red for the ones from the other phone apk and i got the sliding phone green icon and the red slider but only for two calls after that went back to normal square icons i also open the lg esteem phone.apk and i found the same sliding icons with this name for the green button( ic_jog_dial_answer) on the res/drawable_hdip folder i wonder why those icons are in there i thought we only suppose to have the green red square buttons
 
Not to interrupt the party but maybe you want to change the icons in the settings apk . Try that setting apk then the res folder and the hdpi . Worked for me
