Root change dialer screen

brainzz had to throw a wrench in it now, lol ,party pooper jk ,i really not sure what u can touch or cant,but thanks for sharing,all of you!!!!!!
 
Like right now I drop the icons from the other phone.apk on the res/drawabl.hdip folder I modify them with photoshop and works the same screen as the other phone with the sliding buttons to answer the call but only for one call then went back to normal the same square icons here is a screen shot of the call

Sorry for causing that on you bro I like the background what folders and what icons or what do I have to edit can you pointme at the right directions? Cause mr brain suggest to change icons on settings.apk but I opened and there's not the same icons like on the res/drawable_hdpi folder

have you tried to just use the lg update tool,under the options theres a emergency recovery or a recovery manager,i dont recall the name on the updater but i did sumthing close and went threw the process and it worked,just a suggestion ;)

Appreciate that... but I can't see anyone doin that. Anyone else notice that the esteem is still going g for 400 bucks in some places? I can t figure it out. U can get a dual core phone with a bigger screen 4 150 but the esteem still expensive as hell.

But if I did have a spare esteem, I honestly wouldn't be woekin on this project anyway. I would be all over the CM10 project like flies on 5hit!

Just can't afford to brick my phone, can't afford a replacement

Looks cool and all, but too buggy/too dangerous.
I lost alot of my development work cuz of twrp, luckily I had bits and prices stored on my computer and drop box and I was able to peice doverted zve back together... mostly
 
hell dover,if i knew that you was using twrp,i could of saved you a bunch of time and heartache,j/k good to hear everythings back up and running !!! twrp got me on my nexus 7 and the whole which superuser to use with it,screwed me all up and had to start all over,besides that damn brighthouse app wont work on rooted devices!! dnt try to hide s.u or disable while using twrp,you will regret it!!!!!
 
This is what i keep saying i think something can be done with this with changing a few things cause lg has a few other devices that are bigger and better and them prices dont come near this .

Also i wanted to tell you that the twrp aka second recovery isnt good. Yes it always has messed up . But if you notice it gives you a sign when you are about to tap out yes fuzzz up . The time changes then the time changes again to another time zone then suddenly the time is fixed . Yes key moment the correct time is displayed then bammm you gone wrong time and suddenly you cant get to your files or backups forceing you to have to change recovery . So this is why i stayed with cwm. But this touch recovery is good on jb and letz say anything 4.0 and higher .

i lost everything on my memory card too because it corrupted it and all backups and all. nevr again.

that wasn't going to be a new phone of course i seen some refurbished for 50 dollars at ebay
