Root Changing Build.Prop Means Different Roms???

Recently I changed my build.prop on my connect so I can play some games that are "uncompatible" with this device. Would that mean the possibility of new roms too?

not really,I know enough to say that just editing the build.prop file wont let you install new roms etc.I will let someone with more experience tell you why.

all you are doing is setting the device "name" in the build.prop file to another device so that Google Play will let you install apps that are "incompatible" with the connect but ARE compatible with the phone you put in. BTW I am curious, what phone did you put, what games are you trying to play, and how do they run (as Ive only seen a few games that wont run on this phone and most are Tegra versions of a game)

EDIT: BUT if you install another ROM, you will have to RE-edit your build.prop as the new ROM will wipe out all your tweaks

only if you want to brick your phone. If a ROM isnt built for your device, please dont try to install it. ;)
