Root Changing Clocktopia font

I tried to change the clocktopia font with another and renamed the new one Clocktopia.ttf and renamed the old one clocktopiaback.ttf and got a bootloop. Is there some trick to changing the font?

use a font changer app from the market. I'm not completely sure how to do it manually, but there are free apps on the market that will install any .ttf font you want.

make sure you set permissions correctly like before using 'chmod'
