Root Changing PRL

Hey Mike! Yeah, you need to nand backup your current rom setup, flash back, or nandroid back to a sense rom like MikG to use the ##775# code, change prl, then back to SOS...
I've found that on a sense rom, your prl can automatically change without notice....I changed my prl while on MikG, flash Decks and it has not changed.
My boss, on MikG, changed his prl, and occasionally it will auto update....gotta look into that yet for him
it was fine but i think i did an update by accident while running SOS. i noticed this morning that my battery was at 50% at 9 am. it was still on charge at 8 am. Sprint sucks around here. they tell me its network upgrades.... i was afraid id have to flash back and forth.... i just did a Ti back-up assuming i would have to do this. was hoping for a quick fixer 
oh, well..... i have 4-5 ROMS on my sd card just in case..... lol!

I've never had to do this but is it the EPST.apk that allows for the use of these codes??
Couldn't you extract the apk from a ROM which has the fully working one (MikG, I think Karma's ROMs has it), and move it over to the system of the ROM you're currently using with a File Manager?

I just based my reply from what I've read many times. Its plausible I suppose? You would know more about that than I would All that's a little beyond my android skillz lol! i can flash the Sense version of SOS and not need to do any back ups or anything. i guess its one of the perks for this ROM.

Some things like these ESPT codes and these prls and what not we don't have over here or at least I've never found any that work!
I tried it once for a 3G speed improvement...I lost all data connections! Thank God for nandroids!

I think in his settings somewhere he has it set to "cdma-auto prl" or something like that
perhaps that's the issue?

I've never seen that in MikG, as far as I know, prl and profile update has to be updated manually. Obviously, I could be wrong but if that's the case and he's on auto-update then it would be wise to uncheck it.
In phone info...found it....I need to change that on his....this ss is from my phone....
