Help Charging issue

My friend has a Samsung Fascinate and when she hooks it up to her charger at night the back light stays on. Can anyone tell me where the setting would be so that the back light shuts off when it's charging. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tell her Settings>Applications>Development there is something like stay on when charging and just have her uncheck it. Thats if she is on 2.1 which Im sure she is. With 2.2 it just goes off like it should
