Help Charging problem

When I got home from work yesterday, I noticed I'd inadvertently allowed my phone's battery to drop to 3%. Normally around 10-20% I'll change the battery over to one of my spares. Anyway, I plugged it in straight away and went about my evening.

A few hours later when I was going to bed, I checked my phone to find that it had changed to only 11% which I thought was odd. About 7-8 hours later when I woke up, my phone had charged 69%. Surely this can't be right?

That does sound rather odd and sounds like your charger isn't pushing the power it should.

Have you tried using a different ac charger?

First thing I'd reboot the phone.

I rebooted last night before going to bed when I first realised something was not quite right.

Ishould add it's a relatively new phone, I got it last Saturday and I've noticed sometimes restarting the phone will cause the battery life to drop about 10% and playing games like Asphalt and Sims for only a few minutes will really effect my battery life even while charging.

You'd also try a battery pull. Shut down the phone and remove the battery for five minutes.

Someone on a different forum had this problem. The finale resolution for him was to let the battery deplete until the phone shut off and while off charged the phone. He stated he had no problem since. Just a thought.

So the percentage went up without the 2nd battery being plugged in?
Id say its a calibration thing.. the phone is having to guesstimate the behaviour of two different batterys being swapped around?
