Help Charging shuts off

I have had my LG Optimus V since August '11. Within the last couple of days, it will quit charging while plugged in. Just randomly stop charging. I've tried two different chargers. I'm considering getting a new phone, but really want to see if I can fix this issue because I don't really have the extra money for a new phone right now.

The connector might be bad. I know I've charged my OV overnight and the next day it was only half-charged or something. Try getting a new phone charger. That worked for me. Or you can purchase phone insurance from VM and pay $65 or so for a new phone.

Try putting it in the recovery mode and then try to charge it.

If you mean since Aug 11th of this year, the LG warranty is good for 1 year for the original owner of the phone. ie; whoever activated it first with VM.
